Partners in Education (PIE)

Trautwein Partners in Education (PIE) would like to welcome you to Trautwein Elementary! PIE is the parent organization for our school. You are a member by simply having a child at Trautwein. The goals of PIE are to provide support for an enriching and challenging learning environment, provide resources for the Trautwein, encourage parental involvement and volunteerism, serve as a liaison, and enhance the positive parent, teacher, student and community relationship.

Throughout the year, money raised through fundraising activities and donations enable PIE to provide: a variety of classroom materials, technology improvements, playground equipment, school building improvements, field trip funds, library materials, and an outdoor classroom addition, as well as sponsoring various events and activities for the students. Parent support and involvement is essential to ensure all of these wonderful opportunities continue at Trautwein!

The following are some of the events/activities P.I.E. has sponsored in the past:

Ice Cream Social Daughter Dance
Breakfast with Besties (2 times/year)        School Picnic
Staff Appreciation School Celebrations (3 times/year)
Son Bowling Event Trivia Night
Trunk or Treat Teacher Conference Meals
Polar Express Winter Event Tiger Trails Walk

We hope you will consider attending one of our monthly meeting to learn more about PIE, find ways to get involved and meet other Trautwein parents.

Meetings will be held at 6:30 PM in the Outdoor Classroom or Library depending on weather) on the following dates for the 2023-2024 school year:
